Read this statement and tell mo do you think it is racist?

um, i guess it could be corrected, though you may not want it corrected to make your point across, if you do, here goes, if you do not, please excuse the following: I'm autistic and my phsychiatrist told me that I'm autistic on the high end of the scale. I'm in yr 9 and we want a statement so i can go 2 a special school the school are saying that my statement is going on social something and behavior im not at school at the moment because i can't cope. Um, if you are autistic, I would get a trusted friend or family member to look into what could have caused your autism and perhaps you should look into nutrition options too... I hear many autistic people have allergies to wheat etc.. as well as digestive problems.. hope you do ok.... I'm afraid i am not quite clear exactly what you are requesting with your question.

I think it would depend on the context of the source material. The source the passage was taken from could be a novel set at a time when such segregation would have been commonplace. In America, the transition blacks made from being slaves to being social equals of whites didn't happen overnight--it took many generations.

From what I can gather of the passage, it's a mother talking to her child, and the mother seems to have grown up at a time when racial segregation was a norm--it wouldn't have seemed racist at the time. When the child (the speaker) was young, the mother was expressing her predictions based on what she had seen herself in her own lifetime. But times had obviously changed in the intervening years.

Today the only segregation that happens in North America nowadays occurs in the film, television and theatrical industry, but then only for practical reasons. If you're casting a Star Trek production, for example, getting black actors to play Klingons simplifies the application of the dark Klingon makeup.

A little bit, yeah. The whole white folks/black folks thing is kind of...wrong. They say it so many times, that you're pushed to thinking there's a race problem there.
