Islam, a peaceful religion?

It's quite an effective strategy of intimidation on the part of Muslims, isn't it? Who now, in the entire world, could stand up in public and express a negative view about anything pertaining to Islam, and not have it on their mind that they could soon be on the receiving end of a gun or a knife or a suicide bomb belt?

From the beginning, the architects and authors of Western "made-for-mass consumption junk, have been serving us a buffet of lies surrounding the religion of Islam and its history with the West. Not just out of government mouthpieces, but virtually the entire "fascist neo-con" talk show parade as well as almost every big-name Christian evangelist. Their message has been common and crude: The religion of Islam teaches hatred for all other faiths, most notably the Christian and Judaic.

Yet, they never point to history as proof of their own blind hatred greed and lust for Muslim blood, and the "fury" with which the the Christian West swept across the Mediterranean lands, forcing the conversion of Muslims to their filthy crass culture and pervert life style at the point and the barrel of a tank.

On this misconception, there is a great deal more to write, most of it showing how current practices in many Muslim lands go against what the Qur'an and Sunnah have ordained, lands in which women are treated as property (unIslamic), are not educated (unIslamic), are forbidden their economic rights (unIslamic), and more. On this point in particular, we encourage everyone to consult the Qur'an and Sunnah before incriminating Islam. Always remember that Islam is a complete way of life from the Creator, and that Muslims are people who claim to follow that way of life. A Muslim may claim to follow Islam, but be wrong.

The reason Muslims are extremists is because the Quran doesn't promise them salvation. They never know if they've done enough good to get into heaven. The Quran does promise them that they will go to heaven, however, if they fight and die for Islam. That's why so many are willing to blow themselves up.

Aren't you glad you're a Christian? Christian salvation comes from Jesus Christ.

if you want to do maths then why not number up the extreme fanatical Christians and you'll find that's a bigger number. Culture cannot be blamed on a religion and oppression does not have anything to do with it either - that is society and the people who are put in charge. Rosa parks had to stand up for her rights in a bus would you blame Christianity for that as it's the dominating religion in America.

I have a hard time with this one. I know some Muslims who are very peaceful, loving people. I don't know whether it is just that they aren't part of a hateful sect or that they are professors that aren't really following their religion, or whether as some Muslims say AS WE CHRISTIANS SAY, real Muslims don't believe in murder and vengence.

When dealing with such numbers, I believe nuclear is the way to go.
