WillieD, I would bring it indoors for the cold season. The adjustment to the changing light and humidity will be made then, long before the days get terribly short. A citrus tree does not need a cold dormant period, so why take the chance...and why not enjoy its lovely foliage inside. 55 degrees at night, 70 degrees during the day. Feed once a month skipping December and January. Let it dry out between waterings, and then water thoroughly when you do.

I live in zone 8.. your citrus trees should be ok! The only thing I would worry about is if the temperatures get too cold, you may want to bring the trees inside (if they are in pots), or cover them with reemay to protect them from cold injury. Even in zone 8b it can get too cold for citrus, but you should be ok!

You posted this elsewhere without the zone information. See the answers given there. You have a good chance of succeeding in zone 8.

the u . s . are strict approximately uploading citrus flora yet look happy to allow them to be taken foreign places. a pal of mine grew to become into getting into the States approximately 3 years in the past: Customs good: "Ya have been given any oranges, ma'am?" My pal (shocked): "Why confident, might you like one?" The good grew to become into decidedly no longer amused!
