Corolla OR Civic. Have your say?
I am totally confused, what to buy? Give me suggestions, pros-cons. Write anything to help me decide. Thank you.
This will be my first car.

I've owned two Civics, one Civic CRX, a Tercel and a Camry. And I've driven a Corolla several times (mother in-law owns one and has loaned it to us before). I'd have to rate the Civic and Corolla as even, so I would just look for the best deal and the one that has the most accoutrements that you like. I've owned new and used and would have to say that buying a clean, two-year old model is the best way to go. Both the Civic and Corolla have similar gas mileage, interior space, comfort level and both handle really well in inclement weather (rain, snow). You might also check in your area to see who has better service. In my city, Honda is has the better service, but just an hour away (where my wife works), the Toyota dealer is exceptional. Good luck, but I'd go by the best price since both are very solid choices.

They're both good cars but your personal tastes will help you decide...
Honda tends to concentrate more on style so the Civic will almost always look more modern than a Corolla... Toyota concentrates more on reliability so the Corolla edges out the Civic by just a little in reliability...
Options are handled differently too... Civics come in about three trim levels that determine what options you get... almost no other options.. Corollas have option packages so you pick what options to include on your car....
Price is similar but Corollas are currently being discounted more than Civics... Civic will cost you pretty much the full sticker price right now...

Opt for toyota, it has good market value if you consider to sell it thereafter and spareparts are so easy to find through out the world :) Try Avensis.

Pontiac Vibe, good price, sporty, hatch back... and not everybody has one, lol.
For a small car, Focus, cheap and reliable.
