What is with all the questions about the Spice Girls lately?

Seriously. Did one of them die or something? The Spice Girls have not been popular since 1998 (if that long for some of us). I admit that being in about the 8th grade when "Wannabe" was popular, I liked the Spice Girls. I had the CD. I did NOT have the dolls (were there dolls? I feel like there were dolls), watch the movie, etc. When they were gone, they were gone. They don't still live in my heart, I don't listen to their album(s?), and I'm not trying to find episodes of some TV show or a collector's edition of the movie.

If you still like the music, fine. Great. To each his own. I listen to some pretty odd music myself. But the fan mania is over. Accept it.

Your thoughts?

They ask questions about the Spice Girls because they want to talk about crap, and that is what they were. They had no talent

at all.Thank fck they broke up. They proved how good they were when they tried to have solo careers, none of them made it big time.

    PS. I didn't like them.

Actually, I had heard one of their songs recently, so I posted a question about them. I was surprised at how irate some people got over just having the nerve to post a question about them. So naturally I posted more questions about them, the next being more outrageous than the last. I was floored at how mad people would get over another's taste in music. I have since stopped, feeling the topic has run its course. I do, however, like their music(it is a guilty pleasure of mine). Not as much as Elvis, the Beatles, or Tom Petty. But I feel that I (or anyone else, for that matter) should be ridiculed for their musical tastes. Nor do I thing someone should get their knickers in a bunch over someone else's.
