What is the name of this 80s song...?
I think it's an 80s song at least. It's sort of a new wave song, that sounds like it could have been done by OMD. I call it the 'space invaders' song. It's uptempo, is spoken-word for most of the lyrics, and has some robotic voice over in it. It doesn't really have a chorus, but instead of a chorus, it sounds like laser guns are fighting each other. Unfotunately, I can't remember any of the lyrics. But they play it sometimes on 80s night at this club, here in Portland.
I should clarify... I have done some extensive searching on this song. I don't think it's done by OMD. It almost sounds like Kraftwerk. But I have Yahoo! Music Engine, and have searched for this song under boy OMD and Kraftwerk, and similar artists, without much success.

It might be " living on video" by Trans X
It has laser sounds in the begining. and throughout the chorus parts. I know... I'm a DJ. Here are the lyrics to it:

I think I know what song you're talking about. It's not an 80's song, it just sounds like that. I can't remember who did it, though. Sorry.
