Has anyone ever given there fiancee something more than just an engagement ring?

HI,

Other than an engagement ring, have you ever given your gf/bf something else other than that. I plan to take my gf/fiancee to Walt Disney World in Febuary as an extra special engagement gift because she has been talking for awhile about wanting to go.

I figured what better way for us to celebrate our engagement then at Walt Disney World.

I agree with what your saying, and I feel that my love, affection, devotion and faithfullness goes hand and foot with asking her to marry me.

Thanks. It seems that I'm not the only one who has given there SO something other than an engagement ring.

Update 4:

Actually I got the ring that she wanted, so it has nothing to do for trying to make up for that. I just figured it would be nice for the two of us to get away for a week and celebrate our engagement ourselves. With her moving in with me in January and the whole engagment thing in December along with the holidays we won't have much time to ourselves.

    Walt Disney? Sweet as can be. Always wanted to go over there. My fiance and I plan to eventually. Got other priorities but it is in our book of places to go.

    However, my fiance tied a few things in at once. My engagement he did in August. With purposed at sunset in the ocean and a hotel couple's suite (hehe). Ocean is my home away from home.

    He took me sky diving on September 9th as my early birthday present. (which is today the 21st!) due to him being in 29 Palms for Military training (Marine). He made that my birthday/engagment.

    In July, we bought a new truck together which was a gift to eachother for our anniversary.

    So, it's alot of fun doing different things. Makes it unique and fun. Don't always have to be original or traditional.

    I gave my fiance the Diamond Engagement Watch. He is a watch collector so he totally flipped for this. It has an inscription and a laser engraved photo of us on the inside. It's pretty costly though.

    when my fiance proposed to me he took me on a holiday as an additional present, and with the ring i got a diamond bracelet which he wants me to wear on our wedding day.this is really good because if we have more than 1 child then i can leave 1 the ring and 1 the bracelet when i die.and ill remember the holiday forever.taking her to disneyland will make it so much special for her!!
