baby names books covers all time names since 0001BC.. so why find an 80s baby names book... if you are rekigious, look for names in the Bible

Yes, of course they did! I remember "Beyond Jennifer and Jason". My favorite was/is "The Last Word In First Names". It would give a name and then instead of its meaning and origin, it would tell what perception people had of that name. Example like "...that is a very trendy name, be ready for there to be 5 of them in her preschool class" or "...that name may remind people of so-and-so from Days of Our Lives, but it is also a classic name from the 50's". That sort of thing. One that I laughed at "Misty: that's a weather condition, not a name" I loved the books honesty and insight. Maybe you can still find it.

Yeah we got my little brother's name (Trevor) out of one in 1984. My mums found it at a yard sale and I think it was at least a few years old. I would imagine they have written these baby name books for a very long time. It would be cool to find one from the 40's or something huh?
