Is there a word in any language, noun or verb, that means profit(ing) from the deaths of others?

I'm also interested in similar words, like profit made from the suffering of others, or from carelessness of consequences, etc. I only want real words or ... at least plausible words, like latin constructs that may not have ever been used but would be understandable to someone familiar with latin.

You should ask this over in the "politics" section, if you don't get a good answer here. For Latin based words, I suggest you ask under the sub-topic, "law and ethics".
