is this a good idea?!?!???????????????

im thinking of making something similar to flickr.com but for high res pics. would you for example be interested in browsing, copying and pasting pics?!

    if you do you should put a disclaimer on your main page stating whether you use people's images in your ads or not. This way they can decide whether to upload to your server or not.

    On Yahoo's signup page it used to basically say "We claim ownership of everything you upload to our server. If you don't like this don't upload.". There was a big stink over it and they dropped it later.

    Where are you going to get the pictures? are they copyrighted?

    My friend is a photographer and offers his pictures for sale.

    He puts low res pics on the website and you can pay for hi res.

    Thats quite a good Idea perhaps include animations/ flash aswell

    Only concern i would have if i were you would be the cost of bandwidth if the site does go big.
