A rhombus is a quadrilateral that has four equal sides, but not necessarily four right angles (Think a square with funny angles). It's diagonals (those lines that link opposite corners) will meet at right angles.
A kite is a quadrilateral that has two sets of congruent (equal) sides that are next to each other (Think a literal kite, or a rectangle with the short sides meeting on one end and the long ones meeting at the other).

A rhombus is any four sided figure with equal sides.
A kite is a four sided figure, with two pairs of consecutive equal sides.
Sorry I can't draw you a picture but those are some basic definitions.
Hope this helps. Good Luck.
