how do u watch a "dvrip divx trus" downloaded from limewire. it wont play on windows media player?

let's see, downloaded some hack thing from some hack place and it won't play. call your mom? buy it instead of stealing it maybe?

the file you are trying to watch has been encoded with divx... divx is to dvd and video what mp3 is to cd's and audio... so you need to install a divx codec, after you do this you will be able to watch the video... you can get a bundle of popular video codecs from www.xpcodecpack.com.. that is what I use, its alot easier than running around and collecting them all..

Get a program called Gspot, it will read the movie file and give you what type of video codec that was used to encode the movie file.

Once you figure out the codec you need download FFdshow to install the necessary codecs:

download and install ffdshow from x264.nl

then it should play in media player.
