The Wire???

I'm a huge fan because the show depicts reality day in and day out in areas which are forgotten by those in power and by those who live in surrounding areas. A friend of mine used to tape each episode and we would watch an entire season in one or two nights. He also wanted to travel to Baltimore to see the actual neighborhoods and the younguns thought we were Five-O - which made both of us crack up.

McNulty is and remains my favorite character with Omar a close second (especially how he dissed the attorney in Season 2 by saying Omar used his gun to **** people while the lawyer used his briefcase and law degree to **** people as well). The actor who played Stringer was a first class actor and I hope he moved on to bigger and better things.

I don't like it, it is depressing as hell!!! It is too much of that corruption and moral decay in real life that I can not make myself view it as entertainment. I know many will disagree but that is how I feel.
