It can be for several reasons but the most common is because blood vessels in the nose burst (usually because of heat) and bleed.

If your nose is irritated from hayfever or cold and flu syptoms that can cause it as well.

If it bleeds tilt the face upwards with a covered bag of ice over the area. Keep check on it until it finishes bleeding.

Well-the most common cause is nose picking -there are alot ob blood capillaris in the inside of the nose and doesn't take much to weaken-why kids get a lot of no other cause found nosebleeds. Many things can cause this some pretty serious to plain simply too much dust. If there is no other symptoms though I would say dust.
