Would it be terminologically correct to call a man going down on a woman, "GIVING HEAD?"?
My husband and I had an argument over the correct terminology and I need some help to prove him wrong. His opinion is that the term "Giving Head" only applies when an actual head to head contact is made. Therefore it would be incorrect for a man going down on a woman to be called head. (e.g. the term head-butt -- involves head to head contact.) However, I completely disagree.

That's what we call it. It is slang after all,and in context I think most would know what you're talking about. In your terms ,He is giving your pu$$y his head. To get really literal the clitoris has a little (almost a d!ckhead). So eating you out is just as much head as a B.J.

I assumed that the "head" was the tip of the penis.
In the case of cunnilingus, someone's head is in the crotch region... But I don't think that's the head they're talking about.
I always thought "going down" was a nice neutral, not overly crude expression.

I would think the more appropriate term for a doing oral on a woman would be "going down" or the crude "muff diving". There's a woman on here that was in a few adult videos she may be able to help.

I think this term only applies to men.... that's how it's always been seen in society. But if you want to call it 'giving head' when a guy goes down on you... by all means, do as you please.
