How to find my wireless router network password?
I can't remember how to get on the page about my wireless router. I know you're suppose to type in your own ip or something in the address bar but since that's not working what am I doing wrong? I just wanna find the password I set up for my wireless network. I forgot it. :((
No what happened was I forgot my Network Key. I call it password cause that's basically what it is.
Everytime I try typing in my Ip in the address bar I get the dreaded "This page cannot be displayed".
Thanks Bob A! It worked, thanks so so much!

You must be wired directly to the router for this
Go to Start-Run-Type in CMD <Enter>
Type IPCONFIG <Enter>
Look at the third set of numbers (Default Gateway)
It should look something like 192.168.1.1
Open up your Internet Browser
Type in the Gateway address in the Address Line <Enter>
This should take you to the Main Page of your router
From there you need to follow along and read every page carefully. All routers are not the same but you should find an area that says Wireless and then Security. If you used WEP encryption, for example, you will find that information there. This should cover you with most routers.
