How do I get my dishwasher to start..............?

chuck a cup of water over here? or jingle the loose change in you pocket, she will come runing like a dog!

Check the isolation switch near the dishwasher (should have a fuse in it) - check its switched on first!

Check the door's closed properly and that you have set everything correctly

Check the last cycle finished and you are starting on a new cycle

otherwise....

Check the fuse in the appliance plug/in the wall (might need an electrician to do this for you). Failing that, there's probably a fault with it internally. Get a service engineer out, or learn to use the sink quick(!) - Does she know what you call her?!!!

i suggest YOU do them, she will have such a lovely surprise, when she wakes up, that maybe she'll be so overjoyed she will gladly let you poke her! ( just don't use the cattle prod...could be nasty) now go and get your rubber gloves on!!!! oohh la la!!!

I had the same problem with my dishwasher so i tossed her out and invested in a newer, younger model...a bit of moulding and squeezing in and life's great again.....and this newer model is more than a dishwasher...if you know what i mean.......?

I have the same problem with my washing machine. Sometimes if you nudge the door that usually helps. I take it it's switched on, the fuse hasn't gone in the plug etc? Maybe you should get a repair man to have a look at it...........

Why didn't you just nick out for a pint & let your drunken snoring waken her up when you get home.

Hey..I have the same problem with my dishwasher! HE won't wake up either...

Read the manufacturers instructions, if not available call in the electrician.

make sure it is plugged in,or a circuit breaker has popped. It may need some controls changed.
