What two courses are "must" plays in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area?

I will be visiting Phoenix in January '07 and would like to play a couple of rounds of golf. I will be staying at either Sheraton Wild Horse Pass or the Westin Kierland. Are there any golf courses that would be considered premiere courses for the Phoenix/Scottsdale area? Thanks

I work at a resort and guests always request information on golf courses around the area and ask what golf course we recommend. The two courses that we recommend are:

    1) Troon North

    10320 E. Dynamite Rd.

    Scottsdale, AZ

    (480) 585-7700 (888) 876-6687

    2) Grey Hawk

    8620 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy

    Scottsdale, AZ

    (480) 502-1800

Not sure if this is still true but I heard this course was rated in the top three courses in the phoenix area:

    Las Sendas Golf Club/Black

    7555 East Eagle Crest Drive

    Mesa, AZ

    (480) 396-4000

everybody will list the troon north, a few others are tcp of scottsdale, eagle mountain, we-ko-pa g.c., grey hawk, las sendas, legend trail but for me bang for the buck, drive north to sodona and play the resort there. (tee times dont start until 8 or 9am but do everything in your power to be in the parking lot early, to catch the sunrise, i kid you not!)
