Where is the fuse box located under the hood of a 1986 Lincoln Continental?
My power windows work and the dash light is on after I remove the KEY. Is it a fuse or what?
My son called me and told me that he installed an amp for his stereo, now the power is on after he removes the key.
Now he has to disconnect the Battery every night. What to do to solve this problem? He cant find the fuse box under the hood...Where should he look? Can anyone HELP ME?
I need location of fuse box under the hood by engine.

What did he connect the power wire from the amp to? Also check to see if hes got a good ground, if so your going to have to retrace the wiring job that he has done. there are two fuse blocks in that car one under the hood and one under the dash usually on the driver side. also he may have tapped into the power source for the ignition and did not ground properly. I hope that is some what helpful to you :]

usually the fuse box is under a plastic cover on a side or in the front under the hood with a small tab that sais: push to open it is usually black and is about 3 inches wide and from 6 to 10 inches long have him check his conection to the remote wire and make sure it is not conected to the main batery conection the amp should not be conected in an "on" position when the remote wire is not energized

A Chiltons car manual book should probably help you. Check with your local library. I am not sure if they have a website.
