Due to the economy and a few other reasons, I recently moved with my daughter. She has 3 children ages 11,5 and 3. They are all pretty good kids. The 11 year old said she found $10 in a pants pocket of a pair of pants I gave her. I let her keep the money and didn't think to much about it. A couple of days later she said she found $10 on the side walk. Then her friend owed her $2. This all happened in a matter of one week. I usually keep a small amount of cash in my wallet. I noticed that money was gone but I wasn't sure if I had spent it. I don't always count my money in my wallet, but I know about how much I have. I also lost $2 from my jacket pocket around the same time that my grand daughter received $2 from her friend. Shortly there after, my daughter took my grand daughter to the store. After they left, I looked in my wallet and all of my money was gone. It was only $14 but that is not the point. I called my daughter on her cell phone and told her my money was gone. My daughter found my money in the 11 year olds pocket. My daughter returned it to me when they came home. The 11 year old said that she found the money on the floor by the front door and that maybe the 3 year old took it from my wallet and lost it there. My daughter and I told the 11 year old that if she found money in the house to ask us if we lost it. Now my daughter told me that she thinks that she has had money missing too. We don't have any proof but I believe the 11 year old has been stealing money from us. I am trying to figure out a way to stop the 11 year old from stealing money from us. I put a lock on my bedroom door. I really hate not trusting my grand daughter. I know in my heart that she is the thief. Am I right? What should I do?

What happened to all that money sent to Iraq? I saw it briefly on the news, now no body is takling about it on the news. Why send that much cash anyway? It's like mailing cash to pay a bill. How stupid can you get? Is the USA going to have to replace all this missing money?

The state of Florida is trying to pass a sales tax hike of 2 .5 percent so the wealthy home owners will not have to pay property tax. It is bad enough that us renters have to pay high rent, now they want us to pay their property tax too. What next? What do you think? Please only Floridians respond.

I am 55 years old. My husband and I do not live together but we never divorced. He is 51. He lives in California and I live in Florida. We have lived apart for about 10 years. He told me that the doctor gave him about 1 year to live. He had 2 heart attacks last year. Can I get social security benefits after his death? How old do I have to be to apply for theese benefits? He is now receiving disability because he can no longer work. He is living with another woman but we still communicate. Our 2 children are grown and over 21 years of age. He served in the U.S.Marine Corps. for 3 years. We were married and living together at that time. He was released from active duty in August of 1980. Can I get any type of medical assistance from the Veterans Administration? They have helped him after he was out of the Marine Corps. If I am eligible for medical benefits where do I apply?

I live in a comunity where chickens run wild and are a protected species. There are 2 hens with about 9 chicks. They seem to flock together. Lately the baby chics will come in my yard, they get in between the pickets or under the fence. The hens will fly over the fence. The hens will dig up my plants and dig holes to feed their chicks bugs. Yesterday, I chased them out with a broom 4 times. They are ruining my plants. I am afraid of being attacked by the hens. I don't want to hurt them ( it is against the law here ). I called The Chicken Lady here and she wants $20 a head to capture them and put them in a safe place. She has a very long waiting list and I don't want to pay for all of the chickens to be captured, there are over 30 in the area. I just want to keep them out of my yard. If anyone has an IDEA, I would love to hear it. I love the chickens, but they are destroying my property.

How do I train him to stay on my finger? I feed him mullet when he does what I want him to do. If I take him in the bathroom where he has no choice, he will stay on my finger and he likes to look at himself in the mirror. As soon as I leave the room OFF he goes. I am gone at work all day. I know he is happy because he squeeks and chirps alot. What can I do to make him not be afraid of me? I love my little bird and I don't want him to be afraid of me.

My power windows work and the dash light is on after I remove the KEY. Is it a fuse or what?

My son called me and told me that he installed an amp for his stereo, now the power is on after he removes the key.

He works on a boat and is gone alot. The last time he came home, He told me that he got drunk and slept with someone who he doesn't even know. Why did he tell me?I asked him why did he tell me and he said that he was afraid that he could have got STD. (but he was lucky and has no problem like that). I think there is some other reason that he told me. He is over 40 and had 2 weeks to get checked out before he came home. After a couple of days I asked him to move back to the boat because I was upset over the whole thing. I still love him but its not the same as it was before. Now, it will be hard to trust him when he goes to other ports while he is working. This cheating thing has been on my mind for a long time, but I always disreguarded it because I didnt think that he would do it. I can't believe he had the balls to tell me.
