Pete Doherty - Do the British actually like this guy?
I've only heard of Pete Doherty from his on and off again romance with Kate Moss. I could care less about either of them really, but he again appeared under the Entertainment News section of Yahoo. My question is - is this guy really popular in England or what? What exactly is his deal? Or is it just because he dates Kate Moss? Or is he just England's version of Paris Hilton (you don't really know why the person is famous...) I have absolutely no idea why this guy is on the news.

He used to be in the Libertines. I think he is probably like a Cortney Love of the UK.

I've been a fan of the Libertines (and Pete) for a long time! Not too crazy about Babyshambles though. He sings in both bands.
