The old adage "Treat people as you would want them to treat you".
Your co-worker is setting the example. You know can put blinders on and go about your job as you want to. She isn't your supervisor thus has no power over you. Do not give her power, do not let her contagious behavior "catch" you.
Move on and around this co-worker. She'll eventually step on the wrong toes and you want nothing to do with that.
Good luck and remember there are jerks everywhere...

Treat them as you would a child - Point out how lucky we are that we are safe after such a horrible event, keep reiterating the positives of this issue and try to lead this co-worker by your example. If ths person is unresponsive, you can only pity a person with so much anger.

Is your supervisor aware of how they are treating people? You have to be the better person and remember that this person is just a co-worker. You don't have to like them or be friends with them but you do have to be polite and be grateful you don't have to live with them!

Well I can definitely see where that could be draining your energy. There's nothing worse than working with someone with a bad attitude like that! Try your best to block out what she's doing..possibly report her? You should just be nice without regards to how she is dealing with them.

Just be professional. Address them as a co-worker and don't get angry.

You minimize the amount of time you spend interacting with them.
And when you do you keep it to strictly business.

feed off of her, be kind, gentle and caring. Show them sympathy and you will do everything possible .that you really do care.

just remember they are people who have had hard times and hard times can happen to everyone. If that happened to you, how would you want people to treat you?
