I don't know about cowardly, but it is a freakin' shame. In fact, it breaks my heart that is has come to this.

I am about to put Muslims next to strident feminists and the religious right as the squeakiest wheels we dare not offend.

I consider Suzanne. What occurs if a Muslim needs to pass to the Mozart opera, yet won't be able to because they'd be so indignant. also, why is that we ought to continually communicate about Muslims? it really is because they're those which will reason each and every of the violence, Christians receives indignant, perchance protest yet we won't be able to pass loopy and kill human beings in riots. Judging through what Suzanne stated, the scene change into extra in and for this reason perchance it would nicely be taken out. even if, i pick now to not watch the exorcist or the different videos of that nature because i'm Christian. i don't sense that i'm quite lacking out. perchance we ought to get over the actual undeniable reality that we received't watch this one opera. Protests are proper, perchance the scene is not sensible, yet do no longer cancel the prepare. we do not all stay through a similar morals.

I'm of two minds about it. On the one hand, it's a shame to be censoring art for political reasons.

On the other hand, given the mood in Europe these days, I think it's a safety issue.

Bit silly. They could warn people of the content. It's contrary to freedom of expression. When was the last time the State was censoring what artists could produce?
