Visitors to Adventure Island can get wet and wild as they dive into this 30-acre park's wave pools, water slides and tube trips. Take me out to the ballgame! After a long, cold winter of hibernation, baseball comes alive with the highly anticipated spring training games. Clearwater has been home to the Philadelphia Phillies' spring training since 1948. The team has trained at Carpenter Field since 1967, and now plays at the new Bright House Networks Field. Baseball fans can get their pre-season fill of the Phillies at Bright House, which features a 360-degree main concourse, 7,300 fixed seats, a tiki-hut pavilion in left field, group picnic areas and a kids play area.

It depends what age you are, and what you consider 'cool'. St. Pete is right next door, and has the Dali museum which is really sweet if you're into art. There's an acquarium, Busch Gardens in Tampa, and Clearwater used to have weekend fairs on the pier. You can't miss the pier as it is right at the entry roundabout across from a seafood restaurant. A whole bunch of art vendors and craftsmen bring their stuff out, there's music, too. I am not sure though what hours it is, since I haven't been there in about 2 years now.

Take a cruise on the Pirates Ransoms. They have a boat there retrofitted to look like a pirate ship. Its a nice two hours. The sunset cruise is awesome.

There are alot of great giftshops so make sure you check those out.

I attended a Phillies associated minor leauge team. That was kinda fun.

Then obviously, the beach.
