If you want to delete the song from your iPod but NOT from your library, connect your iPod to the computer. In iTunes, click on your iPod. Find the song you want to remove and click on it so the line is highlighed in blue. Press the delete key on your keyboard.
If you want to delete the song from your Library, click on Library on the left side of iTunes. Select the song, then hit the delete key on your keyboard. It will ask if you want to delete the song from your hard drive, too.

you have to delete it off of your itunes. all you have to do is press delete while it is highlited or right clicck

you cant. just delete it from the playlists u use but it will still be in the lilbray
