Does anyone know a good place to stay in Edinburgh?
I went to Edinburgh last spring, and I want to return with my whole family. What is a good family-friendly place to stay that isn't incredibly expensive. I don't want a crappy place, but it doesn't have to be the Ritz either. The kids' ages are 19, 17, 13, and 8.

check out guesthouses... there are good ones in morningside and liberton area... most of these are cosy...

Try www.visitscotland.com and look and bed & breakfasts. You can usually get a good price or go a little out of Edinburgh (if you have a car) and rent a cottage, the same site should help you. I can recommend Peebles, a small town just outside Edinburgh.
