Why do anti-motorcycle bigots lurk here and post their ignorant and discriminatory comments in our forum?
I am amazed of the number of people who clearly do not ride or have any knowledge of motorcycles yet feel they know what is best for us. It makes me laugh when a non-rider tries to tell me how to ride or what to wear. http://www.fastfreds.com/articles/editor-bio.html

It doesn't make me laugh when I see these ignorant jackasses giving "advice" to novice riders. Its dangerous for them to be interjecting their nonsense into a discussion of a high risk activity.

I don't proclaim to be a know-it-all in the motorcycle scene, but I do have some knowledge from working at a motorcycle/ATV dealership for a year and a half. It took me a little while before I started getting into motorcycles, and now I absolutely love them. It opened up a new world I didn't know existed...along with all of the "anti-motorcycle bigots" you mentioned.
I am knowledgeable enough at this point to carry on a good conversation with anyone that rides; I love getting into debates with people who don't like motorcycles. It seems they are jealous of the freedom which all riders enjoy, and embarrassed that they don't have the guts to do it themselves. It is especially fun to talk with a guy who doesn't ride or know anything about riding or motorcycles; being a female and knowing more about something that moves is kind of an ego-crusher for most men. Like I just said, I put it on most of them being jealous, embarrassed. Just ignore them, they'll get the hint eventually ;)

no matter what you like to do, there will always be someone against it. i personally do not ride, although i plan on starting in the next year or two. i am not against motorcycles or the people who ride them, but i do get very angry at the countless number of bikers who ride down the highway at death defying speeds, weaving between cars, with no regard for the safety of themselves or other drivers. i can't even begin to count the number of times i've been driving about 80 mph on i-285 and a biker will zoom past so past i don't even see the color of the bike, and what's so bad, they must be doing over 100 mph and the speed limit is only 55. then bikers are always complaining about other drivers not watching out for them... bikers need to realize that the traffic laws apply to them just as they do to all other motorists.

The reason that these people do what they do is purely based upon their own inbred desire to prove to the world just how stupid, ignorant and slack-jawed they are. They have pre-concieved notions about our world that is based upon ignorance and fear. They are nothing more than mealy mouthed pencil neck automatron geeks that have been pre-programmed to spout off about what they know nothing of, simply because they have heard others say the same thing. They come in here with some supposed self-righteousness that has assisted them in believing that their ignorance is valid. As a motorcyclist, you know what works best for you, and thats all that matters. Personally, I feel safer on my Harley than I do in my truck. They want to eliminate or at least sanction us because they are jealous cowards and want the rest of the world to be as miserable as they are. Ignore them.

I think people often talk about things they are totally ignorant about. They hear one story on the news or pick up a couple buzzwords and suddenly they're experts. They don't bother doing and research or checking those facts, they just parrot them back. It applies to more than motorcycles ;)
When I ride, I know full well the risks I take and I'm sure you do too but they are calculated risks and nobody else can do that math for us.

I have honestly never heard of an "anti-motorcycle bigot." I like motorcycles and everything, and actually plan on getting one in a few years, but some of the things people do on them are pretty stupid. You have to admit that.

Nice Harley's too on your website, especially the one your Grandpa and Uncle Wayne are posing upon.

I don't think there are all that many. I have seen a few answering questions when they're clearly not qualified, but not so many asking questions.
It could be much worse!
In any case, there's usually a regular around to bust their chops, so newbies are pretty safe.
