HELP! What song starts "Flowing water, gently flowing river, finding a path to the deep blue sea......"
I used to sing this song in elementary school many years ago and have tried ever since to find out what it is called and how the rest of it goes. The next line is "gentle rain may fall on your lonely shore, sun and moon and rain shine for evermore, peaceful and still.......etc. I can't find it on the internet :(

That is so frustrating when you have just bits and pieces nagging at you from your past! You find yourself singing some, then 'dee dee dah dah dum'-ing some, then singing the rest. If you DO think of them all, YOU should put it somewhere on the net so one of your former classmates who tries to find it in a few years will have a place to look! =)

Something about this is familiar...I also looked with no success - tried "Lyrics - "Flowing river...." - as you've typed it, tried paraphrasing, but no luck...sorry. Going to keep this on my "Watch List" as well as try again later...(beautiful lyrics/poetry)
