I have a dv panasonic?

My question is i have a panasonic pv-gs150 DV, now when i burn a disk to play on my dvd player for tv it doesnt recognise it but it will on computor, what am i doing wrong and what should it be to vonvert over to dvd.. I have nero and all the others so their is no problem on down loads or burning as i also have a dvd burner and maker on computor i know one of yous got it together

Update:

this is a new dvd player, i think its in the programing of the making of the movie and transfer so it cant be the dvd player as i put in in the stores dvd player to try also on with the question

    Maybe you need to buy a new DVD player. A DVD player that is about two years old, is kinda old when it comes to the ability to read DVD R variations. Many many Dvd players can't read these formats.

    Most of the cheap, but new 30 dollar DVD players will play these formats
