Mahatma GANDHI never won Noble Peace Prize. WHY??

Gandhi, a symbol of peace and non-violence never won a noble peace prize, even though he was nominated 5 times and shortlisted 3 times. You anybody explain WHY??

    He was a great man but he never did what it takes to win the prize; you must bash the USA. The progress he made towards non violence does not matter.

    Just ask Jimmy Carter, he has never accomplished anything in his life, other than taking money from Hugo Chavez, he bashes the US and here comes the Nobel Prize.

    The nobel prize is only awarded to living people. There are no post-humous awards. Unfortunately Mr. Gandhi was assassinated after the partitioning of India.
