Is anybody here sick & tired of hearing about T.O.?
When news about T.O. overshadows other sports. When the commentators feel that they have to talk about T.O. during a baseball game. The man was injured and temporarily out of the game for a few days. And, for some stupid reason. He was the top news story. We should all thank ESPN for making him (T.O.) even bigger then he should be. Maybe they should change their name to ETOSPN. Even the radio sports shows are getting sucked into it. I was listening to one show on friday. Tony Bruno was having a T.O. Free Show. He couldn't shut up about the subject.
I myself will never spell the word "to" the correct way again. I'm going to use "too" whether it's correct or not.
speefmoney4 has got some great points. And, I do agree that T.O. has the talent. But, he's not the center of the sports universe.
Thanks to everyone that has given their answers. You won't here fan commentary like this on a sports channel.
surfrnmobile - That's just it. I'm not watching TV sports shows like ESPN or FSN anymore because of all the T.O. talk. The same goes for the sports talk on the radio. I haven't even sat down and watched the national evening news since 9/11. Why? Because, it's an instant replay EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! Don't mean to yell. Just want to make my point. Peace.

Well I love TO and believe he is a great player and that alot of the criticism is unjustified...but I am tired of him being the top news story every time he gets up to take a piss...its annoying. It is amazing how he broke his finger had surgery and didnt miss a single game though! He isnt the only player though...im tired of hearing about: Peyton Manning, Reggie Bush, Donovan McNabb, Albert Pujols, U of L, USC, Ohio State....there are others but it seems ESPN plays favorites with certain players and then have the players that they also hate. Bush is having an absolute bad year as a RB (a decent year as a WR which should be his true position) but they wont quit talking about how great he is...USC passes Auburn in some polls although USC barely beats a horrible Wash. St. team and havent played a single team yet worth mentioning while Auburn has beaten another top 10 team in LSU...just alot of favoratism going on at ESPN and all around in the media....

That's the ESPN-ing of sports all around. It's all about ratings and it's more "news" than sports. I think the average fan could care less. we care about who won on the weekend and hilites. The off-field soap operas make for good books and newspaper headliness.

it doesn't matter how much you are sick of it, you end up talking about him too.
he's just a great player with issues and the whole media loves ratinngs and TO has ratings all over him, hence the attention, if people like you weren't watching and calling into radio shows about him, the media would stop talking about him!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I am tired of that man. He is as big a waster of his own talent as Diego Maradona. Somebody needs to tell him there is no "i" in football.
