First you need to understand the cause a pull hook is caused by an outside in swing with the club head closed.

For a right handed golfer; To swing from the inside in you need to make sure you start down rather than out from the top. Make sure you left arm comes straight down as the first move and that the shoulders do not start turning first. To help accomplish this move the ball back a bit in your stance, close the stance and shoulder slightly (move the right foot & shoulder back to the right of the target line). To help square the club face, loosen up the grip, especially the right hand, slow down the swing and make sure you clear your left hip early. If necessary shorten up your swing, swinging from 10 o'clock to 10 o'clock (you can lengthen the swing a bit at a time after you are squaring the club consistently).

The pull and hook are caused by 2 different things.

Try to correct one at a time. To correct the pull, try to extend your right hand towards the target after impact. You must swing fast, and continue your arms accelerating or else you will hook the ball. The mental image is like swinging a forehand top spin in tennis. You are trying to swing your hands and club towards the target.

If you are still hooking after correcting the pull, try to weaken your grip. You should see only 2 and half knuckes on your left hand grip during address. When you reach the top of your swing, your left wrist must be straight and your right wrist slightly cupped.

I'm sure these tips will help you.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net/

    Check a few things:

Foot position, make sure you are aligned with the target.

Grip, you might be hooking b/c your right hand (if right handed) is too far under the grip, turn your right hand 1/4 turn, this will prevent you from turning over the club when you swing.

    Practice practice practice!!!!

Imagine that the ball is sitting in the middle of a clock face with the 12 pointing at the target. Swing through the ball from the 7 to the 1 keeping your head behind the ball until after it is struck..

I had the same problem for a long time, one night i was watching golf channel, and Jim Furyk was in the highlight. I noticed that with his swing he couldn't come over the top. Coming over the top means taking the club down on a swing bath more outside than the back swing, so your taking the club back outside then flipping your hands down further outside. The cure is taking the club out outside, then drop the club down on the down swing. you may draw the ball, but wount hook it.
