When the bowler bowls at you, you should hit the ball with the bat and run to the other end. Once you reach that end, you score one run and when you return back to your earlier place before the ball is fielded and returned back you score another run. If the ball crosses over the bounjdary, bnatsman gets 4 runs. If the ball cross over the rope without touching the ground, batsman gets 6 runs. You should have an eye on the fielder before running as to whether the ball is fielded or will be fielded before you take the run. If the ball is fielded and wicket is hit by the ball before batsman reach the crease that batsman will be out.
Batsman will also gets runs when a bowler bowls no ball or wide ball.
