The soviet Union, not Russia, built the Berlin wall to PREVENT East Berliners from escaping the Soviet domination and their communist government into Weat Berlin. It had absolutely nothing to do with illegal immigration. And West Germany did not get "welfare" people when the wall was destroyed. The wall was between East Germany and West Germany, they are still GERMAN CITIZENS. Meixaicans are from MEXICO, Americans are from AMERICA! Big difference.

It wasn't built to keep half a million illegal immigrants out......those of which are costing our country 10 BILLION dollars a year and is being sent back to Mexico......it is a completely different scenario and 2 different purposes.
