What's your opinion of the scene at Columbia University last night?

Wow!! Thanks for that post!! Sounds a lot like the Apes & Students on this forum, they want to be heard and have their say, but if you have opposing views they want to keep you silent. It's that "Freedom of Speech ONLY for people that see it MY way" Mentality.

That was just OUT of control. There was NO reason for that to happen.

Where the hell were the National Guard or at least Campus security?

If these people have issues they should take it up legally and properly, not like a bunch of mindless animals.

More proof that the right of freedom of speech is the single most abused right ever... these sonsofabitches are just about as disgusting as those "Baptists" who planned to protest in the funerals of the dead Amish girls.

Real changes come by heart to heart--this is not winning my heart or many Americans. Nor will it be won by election to election.

I do not believe those who participated in this are making it better for those who are here illegally. This is only causing more problems.

One of the problems I see are poor Leaders on the pro side. I did not hear any remarks of a disparaging nature from the Minutemen as of yet. This may be because they themselves are made of many races and cultures and religions.

I feel the people who are claiming to help are doing much harm often. And Innocent people will be hurt by this.

This is not the way to their goal in my opinion.

Those people are the worst kind of hypocrites. People say no one is better than any one else, but I have to disagree. People who believe their opinions are more important than anyone Else's, and that people who have different views are not entitled to free speech are bottom feeders; I can say without a doubt that I am better than those types of people.....

That is exactly the point. They want all the "rights"; they want to make 'their laws " and ways of thinking our laws now. They say they want to get out of Mexico, that they can't stand it there; but what they are really trying to do is bring Mexico, with all its corruption, to the United States of America.

I know this cause my children had friends when they went to school, who were of Mexican decent. They were told that Mexico really won the "Spanish American War" and that Mexico really owned the United States. Can you imagine what the United States would be like if Mexico owned it. Please.......I don't even want to think about it.

Its disgusting. Besides the students, themselves, I blame the university. They should have their security to protect the speakers and also to make sure the students shut the hell up!

The far left, is the most close minded group in this country today. They are like fascists. They shout down speakers they disagree with. Let the speaker have their say, free speech is what our country is all about, but they don't want that.

This situation was especially out of control. Columbia should be reprimanded for this, however that would be done. My kids are 3 and 6, and they will never attend a univ with a liberal reputation. That will be a hard task, as most of them seem to be run by Communists and other Anti American misfits.

That is a gross display of hindering Freedom of Speech. What was the point of violence to see your point of view. I am pretty lib on certain issues and am beyond disgusted. I believe in objectivity on all issues. That was a blatant display of ignorance to a degree in which I hated to witness.

The Minutemen are far from being racist and have every right to state their opinion without incident. Liberal professors in our colleges truly bite the big one in my opinion. One sided, subjective thoughts are killing this nation under the guise of intelligence with those degrees..

Call in the National Guard.

Remember Kent University in Ohio 30-odd years ago? That'll end that BS right now. DUMASS over educated college kids with no sense of dignity or respect.

I belive whole heartedly that it is not free speech to violently prevent others from speaking. They need to be punished in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct rules. When did young liberals start to believe that silencing people they disagree with was American? It's scary.

The ignorant, racist protesters who rushed the stage to try to stop Jim Gilchrist from speaking should have all been arrested and hauled off to jail. It is clear from the video that a number of them committed assault.

I noticed a number of hispanic looking adults in among the pro-illegal-alien crowd, no doubt the rabble rousers who encited this kind of disgusting behavior.

When pro-illegal alien supporters do this kind of thing, they do more harm than good for their cause, it only shows the rest of the nation why we need to deport all illegal aliens.

Now it is apparent that all illegal aliens need to be removed from our nations college campuses.

All funding for illegal aliens education should be cut off and cut off now.
