Yes, you can...as long as you are paying any amount to the creditors, they can't bother you any more, unless you are making too much money on your own...but your credit score is shocked and no hope to repair it...unless you stop paying them for years, not even a penny...after a few years, (check your state statue limitation), they can't go after you anymore...7 years later, your bad credit scroe will be gone and you will be a new person again...watch Suze Orman Show on CNBC for all details...

Call the doctors office or hospital and work out a payment plan with them. Whatever they accept is what you will have to pay to keep them from sending it to collections.

Be really nice when you are negotiating with them and they are likely to accept what you offer since they and you both lose if they send it to collections.

Some people say yes.But there is nothing that will keep creditors off you back.Except pay the bill.

You need to call them and ask. $1.00 is not enough. If $1.00 is all you truly can afford, ask for an application for financial assistance. Most places have a charity care policy for those with low income/limited assets. The most important thing to do is to keep in contact with them and not ignore them.

u can set up any payment amount u can afford.but u must keep up with ur payments cause they sometimes will tell ya they didnt receive payment so make a copy of check or money order before u send it.

I'm not sure if $1.00 is enough, but I think it really depends on your income. If they see you are really trying, there is nothing they can do to you. I would try to send at least $20.00 a month if that is at all feasible for you.

No. You have to pay what is owed in the time they say, or they can send it to collections. You had the service rendered when you wanted it, they should ahve their money when THEY want it.
