IUD and Pregnancy?
I have heard conflicting reports about whether or not you should take the IUD out early or to wait til after the eighth week. Im just about four weeks and have the copper IUD in place. So if anyone has been through this please send some comments.
ive spoken to 3 diff. docs and all gave me diff. answers. so i was asking to see if anyone that has been through it can let me know how and what they experienced.

Why in God's name would you leave something this important up to amateurs??!! Call your OB/Gyn.

If you are already pregnant and still have the IUD in place I would think it is best to just leave it there. Trying to remove it now would put you at risk for a miscarriage.

I have heard of it being left in until the 8th month since the risk of miscarriage is high
