a million. Defrag -- Microsoft is sluggish, and that i prefer Diskeeper, although desirable Disk is exceptionally good too. 2. initiate -->run--> msconfig (assuming XP) eliminate any startup application you do not prefer to initiate on startup. the fewer you have pre-cached the extra perfect. 3. attempt to maintain a minimum of 10% loose area on difficultcontinual 4. Disable gadget restoration or a minimum of flow the slider all the way down to 5% of loose area. 5. flow recycle bin to 5% or much less or delete completely under properties after genuine-click. 6. Uninstall any unneccesary application. 7. replace your internet document settings to a low fee (i exploit 10MB or much less). those might help you out.
