Do you think Detroit can pull it off and take it in 4?

I hate those over paid Yankees!

Gawd, I hope so. It has been so long, we are total baseball playoff virgins here!

Although, I must say, Detroit has been stunning this season. I cannot remember the last time we lead our conference week after week, after week.

    Go Tigers!

As stated in an earlier question:

That depends on Jeremy Bonderman. If he can be as focused as Verlander & Rodgers have been the last 2 games, then yes.

Detroit Tigers fans are starving for a winning team, and Jim Leyland has given us that.

History does have a funny way of repeating itself (Jared Wright lost game 7 of the world series to Jim Leyland's Marlins in 1997)(The Marlins were also the "wild card" team that year, as are The Tigers this year).

If not game 5 is in NY, and the pressure would be MORE on the yankees, than Detroit, to win. Especially in NY.

    That's in Detroit's favor.

I don't know. Detroit is a good team but the Yankees are a mystery. The Yankees may come back and win the series. If Detroit wins the series I am guessing it will be in 5 games.

It appears the Tigers are not intimidated by the Yankees. They've confirmed to themselves that they can beat em and now will be difficult to stop. Winning is contagious and the Tigers have the bug.

i bet the tigers will win it...can't say if they will do it in four...but either way its over for the yanks..hard to come back from a 2-1 deficit...in the playoffs anyway...of course look what the red sox did in 2004

well we have a-rod and all that money he is making, the team is helping him carry it around. And since we don't have the expanded roster, it's weighing us down!!
