This is how the game works: Each particular grouping has 2,3 or 4 properties. Like the 3 property, Green section you are working on. They print millions of pieces for two of the properties and only release one key game piece for each section. This prevents thousands of people from winning the prizes. If you need Pennsylvania Avenue, so do half a million other people. Someone might have it already, or it might have gone in the trash. When this game first came out in 1980, I had the entire board filled except for the key game piece needed for each section so , I didn't win a dime. When a winning game piece is printed it is released to a randomly chosen McDonald's restaurant. Then they wait a while to see if it gets cashed in. If not, they'll release a second key winning game piece a another location. This ensures that there will be no duplicate payouts. The chosen restaurant is totally secret. Your chances of getting the key piece? Almost zero. Even if you had a huge box of game pieces, you still won't have the key pieces. But good luck anyway!
