No-sew fleece...???

Has anyone made a no-sew fleece before? I made one yesterday but when i got to the 2 longer sides the fleece started pulling and would stretch out, what am I doing wrong and what can I do to prevent it from happening again?

Thank you for your time.

Update:

i'm sorry, this is a blanket... no-sew fleec blanket!

I made several blankets last year. I had the same problem.

I assume that you are cutting strips and knotting? I just lived with it. I think it is the nature of the fabric. One thing that did help was to work my around the blanket, tying the knots as I went. I did not do opposite sides. Once it was completely tied, I trimmed the edges to make it more even. You really can't tell once it's done.

    Does that make any sense?
