My sons cellphone got splashed with water and doesnt work now...?

If this was like yesterday then just wait a day or so for it to dry out and maybe it will start working again. I've gotten mine wet plenty of times and it still works.

FYI, if you are going to take it in for repair you'll have to fess up that it got wet because there are indicators inside the battery compartment that change color when the phone is exposed to water.

No. do not purchase him a cellular telephone in case you already instructed him you does not. My phone had been damaged with water a couple days ago. But I had insurance... They are replacing my phone & I should recieve it this afternoon. I'm sure your insurance should cover that.(That is if you have it.)

dry it out either with a blow dryer or under a table lamp(not too close). i had recently under undergone a similar experiencea nd i dried it undera table lamp for 03 hrs and its p[erfectly in working order now

no i do not think so cause his sim card got wet and it will not work with that being wet. just toss it and get him a new one. Sorry for the depressing news but you had to know.

let it dry for a few days, it may not work right away, but let it dry, it may still have a chance.
