Is it possible for two intelligent rational people to actively agree about everything?

If so, how would such a thing be possible?

So they would have the exact same views on every topic in every field of thought. Would this require the same life experiences, upbringing, and education? Or would one of the people be required to have completely superior intellect with the other person being reasonable enough to comply with it? Thoughts?

Yes it is possible. When these 2 persons were devoid of all their psychological conditioning's through understanding then they are ready to see the truth of what is in front of them, Their mind is no longer dependent to limited knowledge 'cause their mind is anchored to the everlasting intelligence. If we are curious enough to understand the totality of knowledge that we are attached to, the mind could go beyond its limitations. This can happen to anyone who is interested to explore the intricacies of the maze called knowledge. Going beyond knowledge is the unlimited intelligence.

It is evidently impossible for two intelligent and rational philosophers to agree in all respects. I have been doing research on the subjects of divine foreknowledge and human free will of late. Talk about not agreeing on everything! One philosopher says that God has middle knowledge which means that he knows what humans would do, if placed in circumstance, C. Another thinker contends that there are no such things as counterfactuals of freedom, but his argument is taken to task by a very intelligent and "rational" man. So, while certain humans may agree in everything--though I tend to doubt it--philosophers almost certainly do not agree in everything.

Never thought of this before. Well,To have the same views and thought on everything, they would have to have the same life experience, upbringing and experience.

Or one would have to be superior in thought, and the other completely void of thought. This is a scenario that exist already in many relationships I believe, to some extent. As a wife submits in ignorance to a husband, or a slave to a master, who has never experienced, what it is like to be in control off their our thoughts, ideas and desires. Very strange.

    a) Nature abhors a vacuum and is none too keen on duplication of this nature - even in habitual behavior.

    b) Nature abhors a vacuum and this equivalency would essentialy allow one head to a vacuum.

    c) When I was falling in love, I thought I would need to purchase a dictionary and work from A through Z to be sure my fiancee and I were compatible. I didn't even get to APE.

    d) After yesterday's family gathering, my brother in law saw no reason to comply with my superior intelligence, even though he claims to be intelligent.

    e) We are still seeking to define intelligence so this would be diffiicult to measure.

    f) Reason is one of the lesser reasons for compliance. Cf. survival, love, hunger, fear etc.

Is Harold of prophecy attractiveness DELUSIONAL? i could say so. yet be careful approximately calling such "sub-vocalized speech" from the spirit realm a non certainty. This existence we've is an particularly complicated component and we are residing in a time of very complicated subject concerns. For there does exist for some irrefutable data of existence in that different realm. Paranormal studies do ensue interior the ecosystem of spirit-ism, no longer a competent component and intensely risky. Michelle, a fiercely self sustaining Irish Christian Eschatologist

I think some people believe that the definition of superior intellect is to never agree with anyone. I pretty much agree with my brothers, but it’s because you can let your guard down and be honest. Most serious disagreements seem to stem from people not submitting even after they know they are wrong. The key word in your question would be "rational", rational people can be hard to find, pride tends to get in the way.

Only if one of them is so afraid of confrontation that they are willing to agree with whatever they other says. You see this in the corporate world. The ones who always agree with whatever is said, especially by the boss, are called "yes men". In any normal relationship even people who have a lot in common and have the same religious and political views are bound to disagree sometimes.

Possible, not probable. You don't have to be coming from the same background or have the same experiences to arrive at the same conclusions. You can arrive at conclusions from many different angles and through many different processes. I have observed cases where people who came from very different backgrounds agreed on just about everything. But for them to agree on -everything- would not be very probable.

Great minds think alike. they will agree on almost every topic besides religion may be. don't u think that religion is something which is passed on to you by ur family more than its ur own choice? some situations exist where one just agrees with the other just because but overall great minds think alike.

    Good luck

If they do they're robots programmed to think exactly alike. Every person is going to have a different, or slight variation of opinion on at least ONE thing.
