How do I delete custom status in my Yahoo Messenger?

Got a long list of custom status and I want to delete some of it.

    Yahoo Messenger only allows for a limited number of custom statuses (what is the plural of status???)

    You can only have 5. So, create 5 new ones. Simply enter "here", "still here", "always on", "ping me please" ,hi everyone" - or some other innocuous messages, and all the old ones will be gone replaced by these new ones.
