Has anyone heard about Jesus living and dying in Kashmir?

People over there firmly believe in that, they even claim to know where Jesus is buried.

Yes. And the best book for this topic is at the following URL :

"The main thesis expounded in the treatise is Jesus' escape from an ignominious death on the Cross and his subsequent journey to India in quest of the lost tribes of Israel whom he had to gather into his fold as mentioned in the New Testament.

Abundant evidence has been furnished from Christian as well as Muslim Scriptures, old medical books and books of history, including ancient Buddhistic records, to illustrate the theme.

Starting upon his journey from Jerusalem and passing from thence through Nasibus and Iran, Jesus is shown to have reached Afghanistan, where he met the Jews who had settled there after their deliverance from the bondage of Nebuchadnezzar.

From Afghanistan Jesus went to Kashmir, where some Israelite tribes had also settled. He made this place his home and here he died. His tomb has been traced and found in Khanyar Street, Srinagar. "

I totally agree with the first poster. It really doesn't matter, because if you look in the New Testament of the the real Bible, then you know Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again three days later. He ascended into heaven, so that's why He can't be found in any tomb or coffin or even buried just in the dirt. He's alive and in heaven today.

    Hope I helped!

well you can always turn to the bible and find out all your questions like that. in the bible it reads that jesus died for us and got resurrected there in to the heavens and will stay there to rule as king.

its amazing what some people believe out there and i'm not trying to be religious or say i'm right and there wrong i just firmly believe in turning to the bible for answers.

that's nice. People in Japan claim he died there, too.

It really doesn't matter, though, cause His story is written in the Bible, and He ascended into Heaven.
