What happened with my Yahoo email? All my emails from May to October disappeared.?

Update:

I did not delete 6 months emails by mistake, and use my yahoo email often, but recently have been getting more spam than normal, and had to reformat my PC. Thanks for advise, but something more complicated than the answers so far...I suspect.

    Yahoo thought they'd clean it up a bit for you.

    I think u haven't opened your mail box since a long time and hav activated it after a long time for which Yahoo has cleaned up your mailbox.

    you might have deleted them...!

    check out your trash folder.

    if you hadn't logged on for some time then they erase it
