Does your Panasonic th-50px60u emit a buzzing sound?

Just bought Panasonic th-50px60u, 50" plasma tv and noticed there is a low buzzing sound from the TV when the volume is low. I can hear it from about 7 feet away. The sound is similar to a flourescent light. If you have this TV, does your unit make this sound?

I have the same TV, but I do not experience that kind of problem. Best bet is to let your retailer or insurance(warranty) company know you got this problem.

The problem is a common problem with plasma power supplies. They all make some noise, but it sounds like you have a extremely loud one. If you want to take it back to your retailer to get a new one, you probably will get a quieter one, or the local Panasonic repair shop should replace the power supply. Contact Panasonic for the local shops phone #, or they may dispatch one for you.

AS possessing a television restoration shop and a Panasonic guarantee midsection and advertising TVs additionally. i might propose a Sony liquid crystal demonstrate, Toshiba Plasma or a Pioneer Elite Plasma. Their TVs are ok. Alot extra useful than Samsung and Phillips.

I don't have the tv, but I have a Panasonic Surround Sound System and it makes a buzzing sound and I always figured that's why it had such a great rebate.
