I'm 5'4 and weight 112lb... however i have a lot of body fat around my mid section... how come?

I exercise at least 5 days a week for 1h or more each time, but i can't lose the weight. I told my friends i weight 112lb and they didn't believe me.

    You need to check out your body fat percentage. You can buy a body fat scale from Tanita and find out your approximate body fat percentage. Below 10% body fat is dangerously unhealthy, between 10% and 15% is a bit low unless you are an athlete/body builder, between 15% and 25% is very good, up to 30% is acceptable, over 30% is overweight and over 35% body fat is obese. You can also try body fat callipers. HTH : )

    when someone is unhappy thy gain weight around the mid section and the rear try to resolve the thing in your live that has you so upset this will stop the fat from resting there

    maybe its your diet, or your exercies. just by doing sit ups will not make your mid section smaller, however if you do sit ups on those big workout balls will make you cut. if you're not already doing so, just run.
