God's word is eternal and unchanging.?

e) I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?
f) A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an Abomination (Lev 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

Gods word is unchanging unless it dosent fit with he current argument. Then it can be changed and interpreted to mena whatever you want it to mean, as long as it proves your point
Gladiator, looks like plenty of fault in just this one question and one of the answers.

You and your friend need to study God's Word. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. God only gave the law to one nation and that is the Nation of Israel. The gentiles (which is any other nation) never had the law. Romans 2: 14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Romans 3: 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. We are living in the age of grace where salvation is offered to who would believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for their sins. Under grace we have no special day. Colossians 2: 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Under grace we can anything as long as it is received with thank giving. 1 Timothy 4: 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: The Lord Jesus Christ fulfilled the law at the cross. Colossians 2: 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

As for (e) and (f), try reading Mark chapter 7.
For (g), try reading Acts chapters 10 & 11.
These are not even original questions, since every idiot who likes to pluck verses of the Bible out of context has asked the same thing.
Unless you are Jewish, then you must know that Jesus, peter & Paul all said that Christians are no longer bound by the Law of Moses under the New Testament since the death of the messiah brought in the age of grace.

D.) Well First of all...when the bible said this it means that if it is okay to be done in your counttry. So if its okay to have slaves in canada(which i doubt) then you can, but make sure that you also are clear on the verse above which says how they should be treated. No harshy. Personally i feel slavery is wrong, and in that day it was okay, and since in our day its not that allowed i feel this should be referred to people who we have rule over.
E.) No you are not obligated to kill yourself. your life is not your own, it belongs to God so you have no right to take it. Working on the sabbath is wrong..but that doesnt mean anyone should kill this person. God is just trying to emphasise on how wrong it is.
F.) All i can say to this, is that there is no bigger sin, and no smaller sin. For the bible clearly states that all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. So none of them are more worse than the other, they are both sins so they sre both equally wrong.
G.)When It said you have a defect in your eye. It means if u have sin in you...a sin u may have commited. Most preists who went to the altar of God with sin in them died. so thats basically what its trying to say.
I hope i answered your questions...

If you are a Jewess, you had better keep all of the law. That is who Leviticus was written to.
Yes, God's word is forever, it changes not.
I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who in his love and mercy called you to share the eternal life he gives through Christ. You are already following a different way that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who twist and change the truth concerning Christ.
Let God's curse fall on anyone, including myself, who preaches any other message than the one we told you about. Even if an angel comes from heaven and preaches any other message, let him be forever cursed.

Are you under the Old Covenant or the New Covenant?
If you intend to live under the Old Covenant, then you must do your best to keep all 613 mitzvot.
Rather than choosing texts out of context and using them as pretexts, probably you would learn more if you studied the whole concept of slavery and the changes that were allowed. As for killing someone yourself, also remember Thou Shalt Not Commit Murder. Who do you suppose had the obligation to carry out capital murder?
As for shell-fish or lifestyle, you need to consider whether it is ceremonial/religious law or whether it is moral/health related. I have no intention to settle it for you; you must be persuaded in your own mind, after sincere and deep study of the Word ... and to know whether you are under the Old Covenant or the New Covenant. Also, do you consider botulism or HIV/AIDS to be the lesser or greater?
As for approaching the altar of the Tabernacle or Temple, are you qualified as of the Levitical line. Are you a Cohen?

God is as undecided like me.
In the old testament you can find a sadistic god but in the new testament it's a masochist god.
Perhaps god is a switch...

You don't even know the half of it. Read some scholarship on how the Biblical text came to be what it is... it's nothing *but* change, baby!

That all applies.....if you are Jewish.
New Testament teachings are far different.
We Christians abide by the new covenant in which Jesus fulfilled the law when He died for our sins.
The New Testament also says to abide by the laws of the civil authorities.
If it's illegal than it's illegal.
Nuf said.
