My doggie seems so sad....?

I have a Pitbull named Buddy. Lately Buddy seems soo sad. When I get home from work I play with him for a little while but so do my kids and I've never heard him cry until the other day he was by the window crying. Whats wrong with him? Is it because I'm gone all day? Is he lonely? Is he sick?

Update:

Thanks everyone!!! I can't get another dog I have 4 little girls and Buddy too much fun already. Thanks.

He is probably lonely. It's a long time for a dog to be on their own...have you tried leaving toys and chews out for Buddy while you are away?

Maybe getting another dog is the answer...as long as they get on with each other of course.

I hope Buddy cheers up soon...He just needs a lot of attention when you are with him

He is probably lonely, might he may be sick also. My puppy had worms and she didnt want to play she just wanted to lay and sleep and didnt even wanna eat. But she just needed to be wormed. Now she is back to her normal rambunctious self. Take Buddy to the vet.

sense he has no one to play with him ,like another dog, i would guess his lonely, he probably just wants a pal.
